When two designers get married, you can you sure to have a stylish affair! Autumn and Steve met awhile back at the same design firm in Las Vegas. After Steve went to a new firm, they still chatted through an industry email listserv and soon they went on a first date and the rest is history. I remember when I first met with Autumn and Steve to discuss their wedding at Novelty Hill Januik Winery just outside of Seattle in Woodinville. Steve had this sparkle in his eyes as he talked about how funny Autumn was and how he’s always laughing with her. Autumn teared up as she talked about the meaning behind the tea ceremony as a sign of Steve’s parents accepting her into their family. All the feels! I knew this day would be something special.

I love all the unique and fun details to their wedding day. They intentionally incorporated details of Steve’s Chinese heritage into the wedding day – from the tea ceremony, to the double-happiness favor boxes, to the surprise lion dancers who “interrupted” their first dance. Autumn also acknowledged her home state of Alaska through the moose cake topper and gold antler decors. There is a so much happiness here that I’m just so excited to share!
