Kayli and Matthew’s love story has always been based in adventures and experiences. It was only fitting that we have their engagement session in Leavenworth, a place that they regularly visit.

After meeting at a rodeo, they had eyes for each other, but it took some encouragement from friends before casually hanging out lead to more. Since then, they have spent time together exploring the PNW together. One of the favorite past times is snowboarding. Last year, during a trip to Stevens Pass, Kayli went down a pass first with first. Moments later, Matthew came down as well, but without his foot strapped into his board. Kayli thought that was odd but it all made sense when Matthew got down on his knee and proposed to her, in front of their best friends in a place they love.

Leavenworth Engagement Session

It only makes sense that their Leavenworth engagement session is a part of their story. Just down the street from Steven’s Pass, it was the perfect place to celebrate them and tell their love. They were so fun to hang out with, that my usual one-hour session went on for two hours.

Always bring the bubbly! It really makes for a fun way to celebrate the end of the session! Also, all that time in the snow made it nice and chilled.
